மனத்தில் எழுகின்ற மாயநன் னாடன்
நினைத்த தறிவ னெனில்தாம் நினைக்கிலர்
எனக்கிறை அன்பிலன் என்பர் இறைவன்
பிழைக்கநின் றார்பக்கம் பேணிநின் றானே.
நினைத்த தறிவ னெனில்தாம் நினைக்கிலர்
எனக்கிறை அன்பிலன் என்பர் இறைவன்
பிழைக்கநின் றார்பக்கம் பேணிநின் றானே.
Translation:
The
person from the land of maya who emerges in the mind
Knows
all the thoughts. Still they do not think (about him)
They
say, “My Lord has no love”
He
remains on the side of those who try to get saved.
Commentary:
In the previous verse Tirumular described the state of supreme
consciousness. He begins this verse by
stating that the Lord, the one who possesses the land of maya or the one from
the land of maya emerges in the manas or mind.
Thus, this refers to consciousness or arivu. The arivu is aware of all our thoughts as it
is the one who thinks through the manas and buddhi. Thirumular laments that no one thinks about Lord,
the arivu, the witness of all our thoughts.
Without thinking about him they complain that the Lord has no love
towards them. Siva, the supreme
consciousness remains with those who seek to relieve themselves from the miseries
of birth and death cycle.
முந்தைய பாடலில் பரவுணர்வு நிலையைப் பாடிய திருமூலர் இப்பாடலில்
அந்த பரவுணர்வை மாயை என்ற நாட்டினன் என்கிறார்.
அவன் மனதில் எழுபவன் என்று கூறுவதால் அவன் திருமூலர் கூறும் அறிவு என்று
புரிகிறது. இந்த அறிவுக்கு நமது எண்ணங்கள்
அனைத்தும் தெரியும் ஏனெனில் மனம், அறிவு, மற்றும் புத்தியின் மூலம்தான் நாம்
சிந்திக்கிறோம். இந்த சிந்தனைக்கு
சாட்சியாக இருப்பது அறிவு அல்லது விழிப்புணர்வு.
இவ்வாறு நமது எண்ணங்களை அறியும் அறிவை ஒருவரும் எண்ணுவதில்லை என்று
புலம்புகிறார் திருமூலர். அவ்வாறு
செய்யாமல் என்னிடம் இறைவனுக்கு அன்பு இல்லை என்று மக்கள் புலம்புகின்றனர். உண்மையாகவே பிழைக்கவேண்டும், பிறவிச்
சுழலிலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுபவர்களின் பக்கலில் இறைவன்
இருக்கிறான், அறிவு அவர்களுக்கு உதவுகிறது என்கிறார் திருமூலர்.
