அண்ணல் அருளால் அருளுஞ் சிவாகமம்
எண்ணில் இருபத்தெண் கோடிநூ றாயிரம்
விண்ணவர் ஈசன் விழுப்பம் உரைத்தனர்
எண்ணிநின் றப்பொருள் ஏத்துவன் நானே.

Translation:
The Sivagamam that the Lord granted
Are twenty eight crore hundred thousand
The liberated souls described the glory of Isa
I will praise the entity that was contemplated upon.

Commentary:
Even though the previous verse mentioned that there are twenty eight agama, they are countless in number. All these describe the glory of the Lord which was elaborated upon by liberated souls. Tirumular says that he is also praising the Lord who is the object of this adoration and contemplation.
முந்தைய பாடல் ஆகமங்கள் இருபத்தெட்டு என்று கூறினாலும் அவை எண்ணற்றவை என்கிறார் திருமூலர். இவையனைத்தும் இறைவனின் பெருமையை விளக்குகின்றன. அதை விண்ணவர் எனப்படும் முக்தியாத்மாக்கள் கூறினர் என்கிறார் அவர். அந்த இறைவனையே தானும் ஏத்துவதாகத் திருமூலர் கூறுகிறார்.
