1.2.56 Different sections of the Lord

Verse 56

தானொரு கூறு சதாசிவன் எம்இறை
வானொரு கூறு மருவியும் அங்குளான்
கோனொரு கூறுடல் உள்நின் றுயிர்க்கின்ற
தானொரு கூறு சலமய னாமே. 

Translation:

One part of self is Sadasiva, my Lord

Another part is the sky.  Transforming he remains there

The king remains within the body as one part of him

One part of him is that associated with movement.

Commentary:

Sadasiva represents the state between formlessness and with form.  Sky represents the threshold between elements in their subtle nature and their manifestation.  Sadasiva is the Lord of sky principle.  Thus the Divine remains as the principles and the force that guides and controls them.  Such a Lord remains with the body, which is also one of his forms.  A part of him is that which has movement.  The last line refers to the prakasha vimarsha or the static and dynamic aspects of the Divine.  

உலகமாகவும் மக்களாகவும் இருக்கும் இறைவனை சதாசிவமாகவும் அதன் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இருக்கும் வானமாகவும் இருப்பது.  சதாசிவ தத்துவம், உருவம் அருவம் என்ற இரண்டிற்கு இடைப்பட்டது, சுத்த அசுத்த தத்துவங்களுக்கு இடப்பட்டது.  வானம் அல்லது ஆகாயத்தத்துவம் தன்மாத்திரை எனப்படும் சூட்சும நிலைக்கும் பூதங்கள் என்ற ஸ்தூல நிலைக்கும் இடைப்பட்டது.  இவ்வாறு இறைவன் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வெளிப்பாடாகவும் அதன் இடைப்பட்ட நிலையாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.  அவனே உடலுள் உயிராகக் கரந்துளன்.  அவனது ஒரு கூறு அல்லது பகுதி சலனத்தை உடையது.  அதாவது அவனே பிரகாச விமர்சனங்களாக செயலற்ற மற்றும் செயல்படு நிலைகளாகவும் இருப்பவன் என்று கூறுகிறார் திருமூலர்.
