1.2.41 He is the Sun who reveals the path

Verse 41

This world surrounded by ocean will not be due to fate

No pleasure or its termination due to fate

Praise daily, the path. The Lord, the effulgence

Is the sun that reveals the path to the locus.

Commentary:

Tirumular says that if one praises the Lord daily, the Supreme the luminosity will reveal the path to our final destination.  One will not be born in this world due to karma.  Nor will one face pleasure or pain due to karma.  He calls the Supreme as the Sun.  In the later section Tirumular talks about anda aadhitthan, pinda aadhitthan etc.  This verse seems to be leading to it.

இறைவனை நாளும் துதித்தால் சூரியனைப் போன்ற ஒளிவடிவான அவன் நமது பதி அல்லது சேர வேண்டிய இடத்துக்கு வழி காட்டுவான் என்கிறார் திருமூலர்.  அவ்வாறு இறைவனைத் துதிப்பவர்க்கு கடல் சூழ்ந்த இவ்வுலகில் கர்மத்தினால் ஏற்படும் பிறவியில்லை.  இன்பதுன்பமில்லை என்றும் கூறுகிறார் அவர்.

பின்வரும் தந்திரத்தில் திருமூலர் அண்ட ஆதித்தன், பிண்ட ஆதித்தன் என்ற விஷயங்களை விளக்கியுள்ளார்.  இப்பாடல் அஅவற்றிற்கு முன்னுரைபோல் உள்ளது.
