அகலிடத் தார்மெய்யை
அண்டத்து வித்தைப்
புகலிடத் தென்மெய்யைப் போதவிட் டானைப்
பகலிடத் தும்இர வும்பணிந் தேத்தி
இகலிடத் தேஇருள் நீங்கிநின் றேனே.

Translation:
The body of those who remain in the place away (from this world), the seed of the universe
The
one who allowed my body into the space it should enter
Saluting
and praising, day and night
I
stood in a different place with
the darkness removed.
Commentary: In the later sections while explaining the nature of souls that have attained liberation from this manifested world Tirumular says that such souls have Siva thanu or body of consciousness. He begins this verse with that concept when he says the Lord is the body of those who remain in a locus separated from this manifested universe.
Tirumular calls the Divine as the seed of the universe. Just as how a huge tree emerges from a small seed the manifested universes emerge from the Divine. In the fourth section in this Tantiram section upadesam Tirumular says that a soul takes a body commensurating with its karma. He hints at this concept when he says the Lord let his body enter the space fit for it. Some evolved souls are granted stay in the heaven while some souls that performed evil action are made to stay in hells. Those that need to perform their actions are allowed to remain in this world. Thus, the Lord decides the space where the soul should remain with its appropriate body.
Tirumular adds further that he stood in a space that is not dark due to ignorance. It is a place where the light of awareness shines thus dispelling the darkness.

பின் வரும் பகுதிகளில் ஆத்மாக்களைப் பற்றி விளக்கும்போது திருமூலர் முக்தி பெற்ற ஆத்மாக்களின் உடல் அல்லது தனு சிவ தனு என்கிறார். அதனையே இப்பாடலில் முதலில் "அகலிடத்தார் மெய்" அதாவது இவுலகை விட்டு அகன்றவரது உடல் என்று கூறுகிறார்.
இறைவனே இவ்வுலகின் வித்து. எவ்வாறு ஒரு ஆலவிதையிலிருந்து ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய ஆலமரம் தோன்றுகிறதோ அதேபோல் சூட்சுமமான இறைவனிடமிருந்து இவ்வுலகம் தோன்றுகிறது. அவன் இவ்வுலக வாழ்வைவிட்டு அகலுபவர்க்கு அவர் உணர்ந்த உண்மையாய் இருப்பவன்.
ஓர் ஆத்மாவின் கர்மத்துக்கு ஏற்ற உடலை அளித்து அதற்கு ஏற உலகினுள் அதை இருக்கச் செய்கிறான் இறைவன். புண்யாத்மாக்கள் சொர்கத்துக்கும் பாபாத்மாக்கள் நரகங்களுக்கும் கர்மம் புரியவேண்டியவை இவ்வுலகிலும் பிறவி எடுக்கின்றன. இவ்வாறு இறைவன் தனக்கும் தகுந்த இடத்தில் இருக்க அனுமதியளித்தான் என்கிறார் திருமூலர்.ஆனால் அவர் இருக்கும் இடம் அறியாமை என்ற இருள் சூழ்ந்த இடமல்ல. அறிவு என்னும் விளக்கினால் ஒளியூட்டப்பட்ட இடம் என்கிறார் அவர்.
இறைவனே இவ்வுலகின் வித்து. எவ்வாறு ஒரு ஆலவிதையிலிருந்து ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய ஆலமரம் தோன்றுகிறதோ அதேபோல் சூட்சுமமான இறைவனிடமிருந்து இவ்வுலகம் தோன்றுகிறது. அவன் இவ்வுலக வாழ்வைவிட்டு அகலுபவர்க்கு அவர் உணர்ந்த உண்மையாய் இருப்பவன்.
